Very rarely do I end up with photos of me and my clients together.  

And for these few...

I am very thankful. :)

Even if they are embarrassing sometimes...

I'll take them.

Learning to be comfortable in your own skin...

Some couples just have a special place in your heart.  

More than just clients...

These people really are some of our best friends.

In fact, they're such good friends that they let me photograph their wedding - even though I'd never photographed a wedding before.

Meet Rachel and Jason! Jason is a dentist, and Rachel is a gluten-free baking maniac. They're a perfect fit for each other. :)

Well, the AirForce decided that Jason and Rachel needed to move closer to us... and we're thrilled! Since it was their anniversary back in July, Rachel had this brilliant idea to do an anniversary shoot - in her wedding dress!

And no, she didn't steal Sarah's idea. She was adamant she had the idea WAY before she saw Sarah and Jonathan's session. :)

So we frolicked in the fields behind their apartment...

And enjoyed the beautiful sunshine!

I'm a HUGE fan of anniversary shoots...

It's such an amazing symbol of all that they've been through... together.

Once we had played around in their backyard (aka - golf course right behind their apartment!), we hopped in the car and went in search of a field and a dirt road.

Good thing for us... Corn fields happen to be abundant in the midwest!

Rachel and Jason, we love you two WAY more than a dentist loves a good over-bite! Thanks so much for the wonderful weekend - we can't wait to do it again! :)
