Anniversary thoughts

Today is my parent's anniversary.

36 years of marriage - today.

36 years of solid commitment - that has lasted through joy and pain.

Literally.

This weekend, I got to watch a marriage start.

The beautiful relationship started with a beautiful wedding.

And maybe I appreciated it more because I'm in a relationship myself...

But maybe it meant more to me because I know that soon.... sooner than I'd like... soon, I will watch a marriage end.

And that hurts.

It leaves me on my knees with my hands out.

But instead of staying there... I will rise to join my parents....

In lifting high the name of Jesus.

Jesus. Him whose marriage feast will never end.

One day soon.

Revelation 19:7

Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready.

She's safe in his arms

It all started here.

That book and that look.

Jesus starts wonderful things.

And He's especially fond of making gorgeous people fall in love with each other.

I would know.

'Cause I get to photograph them.

Jeremy and Lindsay are amazing.

(Who else would go to a cemetery for a photoshoot?)

She's a gorgeous former model...

And Jeremy's not bad himself...

She's kind of a fan...

Can't you tell?

It's a beautiful thing...

And I love them.
